LBI Fishing Report 11/8/20

Recent days have offered awesome fishing in the local waters of Long Beach Island and the surrounding areas. There’s a large body of striped bass here NOW! It’s time to fish.

If you want to score… be sure to HATCH THE HATCH!

Here’s one of many quality striped bass that Tom Ohaus from Sitka Alaska caught while fishing aboard Fish Head Charters with Captain Greg. On Saturday. Recent days have have been great with lots high catch counts of striped bass ranging from 24″ to 32 pounds. Currently these fish are keyed in on the small bait that is present (sand eels, spearing, bay anchovies among other micro bait).
