The Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission and the Mid Atlantic Fisheries Management Council voted to allow NJ to liberalize black sea bass (BSB) regulations between a projected 15-17% in 2026.
NJDEP Fish & Wildlife and the NJ Marine Fisheries Council are interested in input from the public. The final state measures will be set at the March 26 New Jersey Marine Fisheries Council meeting in Manahawkin.
