LBI Fishing Report Update – June 6, 2018

The Carolyn Ann III party boat fishing out of Barnegat Light reported good fishing yesterday. “That short northeast storm really helped the sea bass fishing. Tuesday’s trip we had two guys with limits and a few groups who are going to have a great fish fry tonight. It was a good day of fishing today. Come join us!”

Chris Masino stopped in the shop yesterday evening to pick up some things. While here he reported good fishing on the surf, “There’s blues in along the beach feeding on chunks. In the morning there were lots of bait but out of casting range.”

John Larue sent in a couple photos and this report, “Had some great fishing up north. We crushed the bass on poppers and jigs.”
