Lighthouse Sportfishing Report 6/23/2019

Blues, fluke, schoolies bass, and now some bonito in the mix. Been on the water 5 of the last 7 days. The light tackle action is pretty much stellar. Saturday morning just outside the inlet there were hundreds of porpoises. Check out my fishing report video here: June 23, 2019 Fishing Report to see some of the pods of porpoise we encountered. I have no problem taking a break from fishing to hang with some marine mammals. If you like my video please subscribe/share.

I have some open dates this week, so give me a call if you want to get in on the action. Also, I will be back at guiding kayak ecotours tours this week. These tours are a great way to learn about the Barnegat Bay ecosystems.

Screaming drags,

Capt. Alex
